Cleaning and maintenance

Before cleaning the device, remove the battery. Do not immerse the device in liquid. 75% medical alcohol may be used for wiping and disinfection. Afterwards, allow the device to air-dry or wipe it with a clean, dry cloth. During cleaning, do not pour liquid directly onto the device, as liquid may enter the device.

Important: Under normal conditions, a healthy person has SpO₂ between 90 and 100 percent. The most frequently measured results are between 96 and 99 percent. The lower the measured value, the more worrying the situation. Thus, when the saturation is below 94%, the supply of additional oxygen may sometimes be necessary, so it is necessary to inform your doctor about this.
